When I was in Cusco we stayed in a hotel at the square, the Plaza de Armas. I mostly remember how the very tightly woven thick scratchy blankets chased away the cold.

Not that there's any danger, but I hope nothing like that ever happens to me.

I'd be emailing people I haven't written to in years, and those I see often would avoid me for a couple weeks until the swelling goes down in my head. I would consider that a big effin deal, and assume you agree.
