Placed an on line order with Mello Digital for an Olympus FL36R flash.

Price looked too good to be true--it was. It was bait n switch to a Vivitar 293; just as good and stronger.
Said it was fully IR compatible--not so, no wireless remote TTL.

Needless to say, I canceled the order.

If the deal looks too good to be true, it probably is. If it's a retailer I haven't heard about, I cross check between B&H, Adorama, and Amazon. If none of those places are running the same sale, you can forget about it. Ritz and Cameta are also good places to deal with.
