Thanks!

Non-sequitur, but while you're here: are you familiar with an Ohio band called Blue Ash (named for their hometown)? They played at dances in Western PA when I was a teenager and later played at some of the clubs I played with bar bands. They have some old clips and some newer, live, reunion clips. I'm going to post their "hit" in Music Appreciation later.

I was Jr. high age when they debuted in Youngstown. I remember my older sister talking about them. Will look forward to your post! Maybe it will wake up my memory some.

Snow? Maybe 3” on the ground right now. You?

The second one reminds me quite a lot of Andy's work. He'd cut the branches and photograph them in his indoor light box. Yours is also beautiful, outside with the snow all over it!

Andy might be surprised to know how many lives he touched through this discussion board.

When I was posting my psychedelic photo art, he was one of the few who really "got" it. He appreciated experimentation and wasn't afraid to post images that might be disturbing to some. They were more than just pretty pictures.

Several months ago, maybe last year, I can't remember now, but he was ill and in the hospital for a bit.

Once he was in the clear, he gave me permission to post what was happening, so I did. Many folks responded and it was obvious how much he was respected and loved.

Where are your psychedelic photo art posts? I'd love to see them!

Here's the link to the thread about his hospital stay, if you're interested:

I titled the psychedelic photo art "Recursions" and they were numbered. Most were posted during the first six months I was here. I've been coming to DU almost daily since sometime after 2001 but didn't become a member until July of 2022.

I'll DM a few "Recursions" to you. Thank for the interest. They're definitely not everyone's cup of tea.
