For Solly Mack - Return of the redpolls

Just in the last few days, we've had big flocks of redpolls stopping by here periodically throughout the day to feast on our cracked sunflower seeds. They're really hard to get good pictures of because they flit around so much, but here's a shot of one of our bird feeders.

All through the winter, we just had chickadees and red-breasted nuthatches. The chickadees are still here, but the nuthatches seem to have gone elsewhere.

3. He's a very pretty bird.

Red is such a great color on an otherwise brownish bird. Gives'em pop!
