Oooooo...fearsome creatures!

I returned to Longwood Gardens yesterday after attending the annual Halloween fountain show Saturday night. Here are a few of the some 400 shots I took yesterday. Happy Halloween!

I once climbed to the top of Notre Dame (in my younger years) so I could be at eye level with the gargoyles—and have a wonderful view of Paris!

I'm assuming you climbed the stairs and not the facade.

A wee bit of hunchback humor:

I'm not a real Modo, you know (sigh)
Alas, I am but a quasi-Modo

It's best in Spring and Summer but there is always something wonderful to see there, and the greenhouses are open year round. It's outside of Philly.

You live in such an amazing area. Seems to me that you'd have a hard time running out of splendid features to photograph.

You're making excellent use of your time and equipment!

I find more than enough photo subjects within a 50-mile radius of my home. Travel's fine, but there's much to recommend getting to know the place one lives. Saves gas and jet fuel, and the attendant pollution, and brings $$$ to the local economy.
