I really like her boyfriend's image; even though it shows so little of him, I can recognize an important aspect of him in that bit.

How much I love the composition of this shot. I'm not a fan of the tilted shot but the tilt in the background juxtaposed with the tilt of the iPhone makes the whole thing work along with the guy breaking the frame at just the right point.

This is one of my favorite shots of my youngest daughter, even though most of her face is obscured (and not for that reason, lol).

Actually, it is partly for that reason, as it captures an essence of her personality that doesn't require more than the elements seen to give me a good feeling. Same with her boyfriend, even though so little of him is visible.

Sometimes, I'll post something forgetting that other viewers are usually unaware of the broader context, both physical and emotional. Then I'll wonder why it doesn't get much of a response. But there's no mystery to it, and it reminds me that I need to be aware of what makes a shot interesting, other than my emotional attachment to the subject[s].

I'm still workin' on that last part...
