2. Interesting that the owl's eyes are much more open and balanced than they were

in earlier photos. Perhaps the owl has relaxed into the new surroundings? Or of course it could just be random differences.

he sits both eyes closed to slits and wide open. i think it depends on the glare from the sun. this was taken an hour before sunset with the sun off to his right
