Used the Sigma 19mm 2.8 on my Olympus EPL-1. I haven't used this lens much lately because of my love affair with the Sigma 30mm 2.8.

(60,071 posts)I haven't shot RAW for over a year, but I seem to have a better grasp of the tools. Even iPhoto does a good job.
Gimp does a weird thing. Its RAW converter converts the image to black and white. I can't figure out why. I can get around that by converting the RAW in iPhoto.

(9,314 posts)Our house has forest on two sides and quite a few trees on a third. Actually, there are quite a few even in front of the house. It makes me happy.

(60,071 posts)to people in the neighborhood. That is a wonderful smell. Sassafras is easy to spot due to the three types of leaves on the tree.

(9,314 posts)I found out to watch out for cactus when we lived in Tucson. We were hiking, took a break, and I went over to my husband's backpack that he had propped against a rock, squatted down to get something out of it, and squatted on a cactus. OUCH

(9,314 posts)I know you can use a red filter to make clouds look more dramatic, but I don't know any filter that filters out clouds.
