I haven't shot RAW for over a year, but I seem to have a better grasp of the tools. Even iPhoto does a good job.

Gimp does a weird thing. Its RAW converter converts the image to black and white. I can't figure out why. I can get around that by converting the RAW in iPhoto.

We have several well over 300 years old. Even long after their death, they still can amaze.

Our house has forest on two sides and quite a few trees on a third. Actually, there are quite a few even in front of the house. It makes me happy.

I found out to watch out for cactus when we lived in Tucson. We were hiking, took a break, and I went over to my husband's backpack that he had propped against a rock, squatted down to get something out of it, and squatted on a cactus. OUCH

I know you can use a red filter to make clouds look more dramatic, but I don't know any filter that filters out clouds.
