Let's gear up and find the entry that says "Spring" to you this year.
We are hopefully going to fill it up in a week.
I must start the contest on the first of June - and run a tight ship with it because I have some other commitments in June, and also because that way we will be out of the way when the June contest will start happening.
The May contest, now in progress, filled up to capacity. That made me happy.
Let's do it again with the Seasonal contest for Spring.

(46,436 posts)It's because all the birches leafed out overnight. I feel lucky I don't have those issues. I have friends who are miserable.

(60,074 posts)two years have been heavy. Each day I have to clean the pollen off my windshield. It's the thickest I've seen in the spring. I've seen yellow falls, where you could see yellow clouds of pollen, and that was probably from the Goldenrod.

and I didn't feel like messing with trying to get the photo right.

Enjoy the feast around you!
I'm so happy for you that you get to be there.

(27,451 posts)I thought it would be a good idea to finish up the May contest before the end of the month given there are two coming up in June. Looks like it was a good decision.
Gotta think about this one. Our spring is usually over in February and this year it came even earlier.
What are your directions? Anything special?
Mira
(22,380 posts)but I will not give any special direction at this point other than encourage folks to submit a photo. It's dear to my heart to see old and new folks participate and share their visions of Spring.
