Related: About this forumSeattle fireworks from across the bay
Due to poor predictions on the wind/weather, I intended to shoot the fireworks from a park near my house, same as last year. It's not a bad spot for the fireworks; but due to the trees, the skyline is not recognizable.
This year an early arrival and I decided to try a new spot, a church parking lot just west of the park. I questioned the location due to the possible tree problem, but it turned out to be a great spot for both the fireworks and the skyline.
Just ignore that power line running through the frame.
All the EXIF data should be in the image for those so inclined.

You captured all of the beauty and excitement of the fireworks along with the famous Seattle skyline.
WHAT power line?

(10,136 posts)In photoshopped out the power line on the left side of the image, but left it in on the right side due to the area being worse after being removed. At least with my PS skills.
