three northern California beach photos....

I drove up to Trinidad again tonight for the late afternoon light on the beach. These photos were taken at Trinidad State Beach in Trinidad, California. I was hoping for colorful sunset clouds but it was mostly cloudless.

The complete gallery at higher resolution is at https://mcamann.smugmug.com/Misc-photos/.

He showed that even someone as powerful as the king can't control the tides.

These are wonderful.

I love the details! In the second photo, the rocky details are just amazing. SO beautiful!

The light on the water and on the rocky shore is gorgeous.

Well done!

Shot back lit, the shadowed sides of the rocks facing the camera were solid black. I think I pulled just about all the detail I could out of that deep shadow. The full sized image looks better than this version, which is reduced to lower bandwidth.

I'm glad you like it!
