Last Days of Summer at Stinson Beach

For those unfamiliar with the Bay Area, Stinson Beach is just a bit north of San Francisco. Like the city, the weather here during summer can be downright cold and cloudy/foggy. It wasn't particularly cold today but it probably isn't what you think of when you think California beaches in summer season.

It was in the mid-80's at the house today. It takes us about 40 minutes to get to Stinson, mostly because the road from Hwy-101 to the beach is very narrow, steep, and lots of blind curves. When we got there it was in the mid-50's; a nice break from summer temps, although we'll miss them soon enough.
