Apologies for the quality. I was shooting from inside my client's house.
If you live in Hawk territory, get a biiiig bird bath. This guy is a regular at the fountain. I don't see him often because I only check the house once or twice a week.
And here's a lily from the same house. A little better quality.

(22,380 posts)on a day when I had a neighbor tell me he saw a hawk, after my telling him my birds went nuts in the trees, then a big plop happened on a branch. My eyes did not adjust to see it well, plus I was a little scared, and I went for the camera. When I came back, the big plop was gone.
Your first photo is priceless. It has what I call "Elvis". Emotion, beauty, and it tells a story.
The lily is a gorgeous photo.
