***October Contest to come: Doors and Gates it is***
Based on popular vote the subject matter for the October Contest is “Doors and Gates”. It’s an easy one in my opinion, chances are good we'll get a number of wonderful entries from all you talented folks.
I will start the submissions in one week, so you can be out looking and taking photographs, or of course you can choose one from your archives. The only thing that matters is that you yourself took the picture.
The weather should be quite lovely for a stroll through your neighborhood or maybe downtown. Thanks for your votes, your interest, and your participation.

Or does it have to be a door with a knob, a lock and so on? I have some nice photos with arches......would they work?

If it is a door, opening, walk-through or the enclosure a gate represents, all are fine with me.
