Just took this one shot with my iPhone. Took a few dozen with my Nikon though Ill have to wait a few weeks until I get home up north and download on my Mac.

Anyway, it's a beautiful photo!

(15,939 posts)Just got there about 10 minutes before sunset. A lot of people were there though. Tried to park near the pier but no spaces.

(19,201 posts)about Florida. I lived in Clearwater for three years after my first retirement. I spent many a day on that beach, and fishing from that pier. The oppressive summer heat and humidity did me in, plus the political climate was quite a shock for this old New York man. I do miss those lovely sunsets though.

(8,574 posts)And some of the other beaches; Sand Key and Caladese Island up in New Port Richey mostly. I spent a lot of time as a kid fishing about eleven miles out there in the Gulf with my dad on his boat. Thanks for the picture of home, with such a beautiful sky.
