Winter Photo Contest

I will not be able to host the winter photo contest. I have asked ManiacJoe if he would take over for me, and he has graciously agreed. I can't thank him enough.

I hope that everyone has been getting some good photos. The contest is supposed to start on March 1, so get those winter photos ready to go.

Never done a seasonal contest.
Is "winter" just an all encompassing theme for the glorious white stuff?

2. Applauding you for taking over!

Winter, as I see it and as we have handled it over the years, is anything about the cold season. Snow is nice, but not necessary at all. For instance a beautiful catchy portrait of a Santa would qualify, so would a landscape of denuded trees.

4. No it's not all snow all the time,

it's about winter, the cold, the weather, Christmas, maybe even Halloween (my least favorite holiday, so I never think of it)
Anything that spells a wintry occurrence. Lots of possibilities.
But snow is OK as well
