(149,614 posts)You should still be able to see them together tomorrow. I'm not sure how long they will be together.

(149,614 posts)I am not half the photographer that you are......but I'm trying!
The wind was very strong and it was COLD but I was so pleased to see the moon and Venus, I didn't care. My hands froze!
I gave up trying to use the tripod and did it all hand-held.......yikes! There were some slightly blurry shots, but you won't see them!
The song is lovely and thank you for including it. I love that style.

Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning round.

(36,262 posts)I missed my chance to catch Mercury in the evening, and sort of conflated that to Venus too ... actually, Venus is still setting very late in our area.
"Before sunrise" is alien territory.
Venus is so danged bright that I've taken pictures of it with an old cell phone camera -- from a brightly lit parking lot. Often reported as a UFO; one control tower even cleared it to land.

(149,614 posts)How funny that Venus has been reported as a UFO............and cleared for landing too!
Thanks for clarifying just where you were coming from!
