i noticed some pretty green flys on something in the garden. took some ok pics. not enough pixels.

These flies visit the same spot over and over again. Dragonflies do the same. I guess it is a good vantage point.

from about a hundred years ago (I'm an old guy) recommended taking a hundred pictures and discarding 99. And this was in the days of film. Still good advice, though.

Yours is a Green bottle fly. The one above is probably a Blow Fly
