It's official: Ektachrome is really back

A couple years ago, Kodak announced they were bringing Ektachrome 100 back to market. Well...it's back.

B&H lists it as "in stock."
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/274846-USA/Kodak_1884576_E100G_135_36_Ektachrome_Professional.html

Freestyle lists it as "Approx delivery date December 31, 2018."
https://www.freestylephoto.biz/8706590-Kodak-Ektachrome-E100D-100-ISO-35mm-x-36-exposure

Glazer's Camera in Seattle is going to sell it but it's not in stock yet.

Adorama doesn't list it yet.

Right now this is only in 35mm; they plan to also introduce it in 120 but Kodak uses a different base for the two sizes, and the chemistry of the emulsion is different so it'll stick to the other base.

They came out beautifully and it was kind of fun.
I always preferred Ektachrome to Kodachrome because the colors felt more natural.
Kodachrome always made the colors too bright and saturated.

Strange thing is, it has excellent dark stability...but if you ever want to look at your pictures, it's not so hot.

I also used to REALLY like shooting Agfachrome, but they don't make it anymore.

After 20 years of storage you really start to appreciate its value when you compare it to ectachrome that has faded.

I never really liked Agfa film, although I did like Scala. You can now get it again, although unfortunately not in 120.
