*** Here is the time frame for the November contest: "IN THE SHADOWS"

I announced the theme for the contest here.

mnhtnbb was the winner in the October contest and gave us the theme.
She cannot enter the November contest because it is her theme, and according to our rules the winner gets to call it but not participate. In the thread above she posted a truly excellent primer for how to consider the theme, I was very happy to look it over and it gave me good ideas. I suggest you do it, too.

I will post this in the Lounge, and in GD so we can get the word out.

Submissions will start on Friday the 13th. Why not. Only the Shadow knows.
Prelims will start on Sunday the 22nd.
Finals will start on Wed. the 25th

And I'll announce the winners the weekend after Thanksgiving.

You now have til Friday the thirteenth to either take some walks with your camera probably while the sun is shining, or find a favorite shot in your archives.
Having been (almost declared) successful in firing Agent Orange from our White House in Washington should let you be happy in your path.

The election is over. Our happiness has sunk in. Our TVs are probably cooling down. It's high time to address
"IN THE SHADOWS" our theme for the November contest.

Where I am we are having unseasonably warm and sunny weather, so in the mid day it's easy to find subjects for this wonderful theme.

Today it's rainy, and no sunshine. So if you have not gone out to shoot a photo for "IN THE SHADOWS" the November contest it may be a good time to go your your saved photographs.
