2. Just saw that in our western sky. As always, your photograph does it justice. Thank you

for seeing and sharing the beauty too many of us take for granted.

6. Thank you so very much, my dear Atticus........

I am deeply touched by your beautiful prose.

I hadn't expected to see the moon tonight, and the sight thrilled me!

It could not have been better.

3. I'll bite. Why the scythe of life?

Something to do with Ramadan?

7. Well, I was talking to a friend as I posted this, and he suggested the title.

I thought it was very imaginative and so I'm using it!

The shape of this crescent moon does look rather like a scythe to me.

11. A beautiful photo.

I knew the most recent crescent moon marked the start of Ramadan. I tried to make a connection where none existed.

12. You have an active and intelligent mind, and that makes you look for connections!

And yes, Ramadan does start with the crescent moon. I think it's very cool that you can make those associations. Many folks cannot.

13. I am a fountain of trivia often seeing connections where none exist.

16. Thank you so much, my dear birdographer!

I hadn't expected to see it, since our skies have been very cloudy lately. But there it was and it galvanized me!

The title was suggested by a dear friend of mine and I like it a lot.
