As the Firespike matures

the tips of the blooms form a curly appendage, a perfect perch for a Blue Dasher. Very low light so the depth of field is not what I would want, but not too shabby.

if I can get my hummingbird to use the feeder after these blooms have passed............

I've tried three different feeders and no luck yet
