Things I found on the beach today

Last edited Mon Apr 11, 2022, 11:01 PM - Edit history (1)

Overcast late afternoon with winds gusting to 30 and no luck with the pelicans or gulls in flight so I took a walk along the beach.

You expect these guys, er.. gulls.

Sand and lost feathers.

Flotsum covered in sea moss.

And of course young love.

Classic, simple, extraordinary beauty in every one.

Thank you for sharing your vision.

That is amazing. It looks so much like fur. I thought that piece of flotsam was a dead animal at first, or part of one.

Note: I live in the midwest, hundreds of miles from the nearest seacoast. I've been to the Gulf of Mexico and to the Atlantic Coast, but never had the opportunity to hang around for very long, so there's (obviously) a lot I don't know about what washes up on the beach..
