Just speculation, but did you notice how in the scene right after she wakes up next to Jamie, the director made a point about the maid with short brown hair showing up for the scene? Her haircut was much like Cersei's, but brown. She had a pretty face, petite features like Cersei, and a soft voice.
I wonder if Cersei is cultivating a doppleganger? Maybe this is someone she can give away to Euron Greyjoy, and he'll think he's married to a bedding the queen herself, since that is his goal, and she detests him. Maybe the doppleganger bedded Jamie as a test to see if she could pass as Cersei.

(4,851 posts)This season, they are in the background in the court/throneroom scenes and they all have the same haircut.
Some have joked that "the Cerci" is popular in Kings Landing now like "the Rachel" was years ago when the nbc sitcom friends was popular. I am sure this was done on purpose. Cerci is the type to ensure her maids worship her. That maid in particular, is named Bernadette and is played by actress Sara Dylan. She has been on since season 2 and is the closest maid to Cerci. Anything is possible, but I think its more likely that it is shown to show Cerci's personality and how her maids deal with it.

(4,851 posts)Everything they show has a purpose, and speculating is part of the fun. But sometimes the purpose is to show a character issue more than something nefarious. But often in this show, it is nefarious, so it was a great pickup by you. I saw it and thought the same, that it was important, but I thought the reason was something different. Time will tell. I would love to see her make a clone to put out there for dangerous scenes. Would not surprise me at all and fits the character. Fun idea.

(16,104 posts)is from the scene where JS tells his half-sister she sounds like she admires "the queen" - and SS is wearing the same hair-style worn by "the queen" when the show started!

(4,851 posts)They said that Sansa is becoming an adult and is showing the influence of those that have impacted her most. The Lannisters have clearly influenced her, to her credit. She is not her father's daughter anymore. Jon was hid away at the wall and was influenced by only his father and Lord Mormont, both so ethical it cost them their lives. It is Jon's greatest weakness IMO. Sansa is the true leader in the north, and I suspect when it is done, will remain as such.
