2. I watched most of the series.

While this isn’t an actual synopsis, I will say I enjoyed it till I didn’t. It just got too nuts. Don’t get me wrong…I believe in magic. I’ve seen it work first hand but the writers could have kept us all interested without leaving this earthly realm. Fillory is fun and all…but I would have stuck it out with the series if the plot would have stayed a little closer to this reality. The powers that the witches in The Magicians possessed are cool enough without having to transport all of them to battle even freakier forces in Fillory. Imagine if they’d just had to learn to use their witchcraft on regular old earth? That’s more interesting to me than the awesome powers of these characters in a fantasy world of Fillory. It just went too far, imho.
