My husband has a hard time trying to understand it, they talk soooooooooooooo fast. Ya really gotta listen, it is a fast dialogue. So funny though….love all the actors.

1. To this day anyone in comedy either standup or TV etc, will tell you Phil Silvers is considered the

greatest performer of all time in that show. If not the greatest, top 5. That there has never been anyone like him.

For years it was on late night when I worked a gas station, every night after work I got a bag of choco covered peanuts, smoked a joint and watched two episodes.

I loved the show also. Doberman character was from Scranton on the show as I am. So it was a fun connection. Remember "The Strange Case Of Harry Speak Up" ?

7. Loved it! It was a can't miss it show in our house; my WW 2 veteran dad absolutely loved it.

Bilko and his shenanigans were just awesome.

Trivia: Paul Ford (the colonel) plays the banker in "Big Hand for a Little Lady"
If you have never seen this movie, you need to do so.
