Rizzoli & Isles starts back up tomorrow night...

...anyone else watch this? I started reading the books, then the series started, and while she is a Republican, I really like Angie Harmon. She's so sweet on Twitter. Plus, the show is really well done and well written.

I like Angie Harmon. I was kinda hoping the series that was based on James Patterson women's murder club would have made the cut, but it didn't. I liked that too, and read the books.

I like Necessary Roughness, Suits, and Franklin and Bash. All are starting soon.

I'll be dvr-ing it! I'm with ya, even though she's a R she's still a good actress. I liked her in Law and Order too.

She keeps her political leanings pretty low key. That helps!

I'm madly in love with Maura Isles.

Not Sasha Alexander, I don't know her although I don't doubt she's a perfectly nice woman, but Isles is the type of character I fall for every time-- intelligent and educated, slightly geeky, funny, and yet gorgeous. It remains to be seen just how she works out Rizzoli shooting her father. Scumbag that he was, it's still not Rizzoli's business to plug his ass.

4. Second season was horrible

I loved the show first season, but I thought second season was horrible. This has to be among the worst written shows on television right now. The police procedural aspect is laughable, and Maura is a mess of a character. The cast is stellar, they all just deserve to be in a much better crafted show.

I think I may wait and catch up once the series is cancelled. I was really disappointed in second season and I'm not convinced the writers have improved. It's sad, because I want to like it.

It's not going to be canceled. The show had ratings records last year for cable tv. I doubt it's going anywhere for a while.
I understand not liking something. Maybe you should read the books. The TV show is apparently a little too much for you. Maybe it's better when it's inside YOUR head?

she is no Ted Nugent when it comes to being a nasty repuke. She keeps her politics pretty low.

I hope this show goes on for a long time cause I really like it.

...Angie's character talked about what a douche he was, but her 'mom' talked about how nice he looked..regardless, it had him on it, so I didn't bother to watch the rest of the episode...

I like 'Falling Skies' too btw...interested to see how the plot develops this season..

Way to wish unemployment on a TON of people just because you don't like one person on the show. That's not very progressive or liberal of you.

Who the fuck do you think you are? You don't know me.
I can just look past people and see that they are not the sum total of their political views. I haven't seen her on Fox because I don't watch that drivel. But like I said, I'm judging her on what I've seen on her Twitter. How dare I judge people on personality and not their political beliefs! I'm evil! Ridiculous.

I can't read the books. Read 3. They are so different from the tv series that I had to pick one or the other. And honestly, if they're the best Tess Gerritsen (sp?) has to offer...well, I suppose I should give her non Rizzoli books a try before I pass judgement. I like Angie Harmon too- I really had to separate her politics from her acting when she was on L&O. Sometimes they meshed a little too close for my comfort...

Maybe we're the only ones who can do that. I like them both for different reasons. The Surgeon is SOOO good.
And just to be clear, that was not meant to be insulting or condescending. I was really asking a question.
