I have a new TV/Dish connection question, if you don't mind.

Just got a new Samsung 32'' Class 720p LED HDTV UN32EH4003 ENERGY STAR® TV and am having trouble.

A friend set it up for me, but I notice a couple problems, now that he's gone.

The Samsung TV remote controls the on/off function and the volume, and the DISH remote controls everything else except those two functions.

Any ideas? I don't even know enough who to call - Samsung or DISH.

that tells you how to set the Dish remote to operate your tv:

Samsung's most popular codes are 505, 506 or 516 in that order. If those don't work look for the codes in your manual or google "samsung tv dis remote codes." Good Luck and have a great day!
