Wachowski's Netflix Series "Sense8" Details
The big-budget feature epic "Jupiter Ascending" isn't the only sci-fi project that Andy and Lana Wachowski have up their sleeve this year.
The other is a highly secretive TV project for Netflix entitled "Sense8," a drama series which they are teaming with "Babylon 5" creator J. Michael Straczynski to create.
TV Line has posted new character and story details from the project today. The globe-spanning premise sees eight people linked together by a violent vision, at the same time a mysterious figure is trying to bring the group together in order to kill them.

First... Let me say that I'm not sure if these Online only shows actually belong in this Group but if anyone thinks this is the wrong place, speak up and I'll look for a more appropriate Group.
OK... On to this series... This is the first I'm hearing about it and it sounds pretty sweet. The only thing that has me a little hesitant is that it's being done by the Wachowski's. Don't get me wrong, they have great vision and put together a pretty good story but they also too often fall into things so obscure and uninteresting, I just stop caring. When they take a limited size and scope, they do fine... But I'm afraid that with something so open ended, they will fall into making it far more complex then it needs to be just for the sake of complexity (I'm thinking LOST on steroids) that it will become something that can never be satisfactorily ended. I'll give the first season a watch and see how it goes though.
