The Crazy Ones canceled

Last edited Thu May 22, 2014, 06:30 AM - Edit history (2)

There are about 5 more episodes in the season and the show has an average rating of 8.79. Of all the shows announced recently, The Crazy Ones was not on the list. Some time between April 18th and May 22nd for them to announce Joan of Arcadia was canceled.

Update 5/22: The Crazy Ones did in fact get canceled. No huge surprise, but I think given another season it could have made a come back.

Sucks, and continues to suck. HARD.

A pathetic re-write of Everybody Loves Raymond, only with an even more annoying and slightly disturbing mother/son relationship..

But I'm glad I haven't. I am usually very picky about taking a chance on watching a show.

...It appears 'The Millers' is going to be renewed but the Crazy Ones is "up in the air"...

I suppose that could be a good thing and mean there's one less excuse to sit on my arse for half an hour..

the watcher can get invested in. I loved all the actors, but even Robin Williams couldn't overcome those things.

When you turn off a show in the middle of it because it's silly and boring, even a show with Robin Williams who never fails, then is the fault of the script and character development. I figured out years ago that even a gifted actor can't save bad writing. It's kind of like that trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. I'm not an expert, just a sitcom watcher, whose been watching the telly since the days of the original "I Love Lucy" aired so I've learned over the years to analyze why I do and don't like shows.

We watched one episode and part of a second, and decided that even Robin Williams could not save that one.
