Related: About this forumMan attacked by bobcat near Bisbee, agencies search for wild animal
PIMA COUNTY, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
A man walking his dog in a neighborhood street off Naco Highway in Cochise County claims he was attacked by a bobcat Sunday morning.
Cochise County Sheriff's Office shared the news in a press release Sunday evening. It stated that deputies and USDA personnel didn't locate the bobcat soon after 7:15 a.m., but they took the following report from the man.
He noticed the bobcat in some brush near Della Street and Barnett Road. He told first responders that he let his dog go and told it to run home, but the wild animal remained focus on him. The bobcat tore into his arm, according to the release.
The man's wife noticed the dog returned alone, so she hopped into her car to find her husband. When she did, the bobcat didn't leave until she honked the horn, according to the man.

Mine would have torn into the bobcat to save me. I have a big Newfoundland. Fortunately the man survived.

But my money's on the bobcat if they ever actually fight. Poor guy. They really are powerfu! Looking....twice the size of house cats. Beautiful but scary all the same.

I assume he is going to need rabies treatment along with whatever else - lots of antibiotics for sure.
