Hey Oakland, here’s a candidate for your Race & Equity dept
Chip Johnson covers Oakland for the SF Chron, or at least the affluent part of it above 580. He's really outdone himself this time!

Now that Oakland lawmakers have approved the creation of a new race and equity department, they need a qualified executive director to lead this experimental forward-thinking project....
Im thinking Rachel Dolezal, the embattled former Spokane NAACP chief, would be perfect for this job. Oakland city officials want to fill the position by years end and shes looking for work. The timing is impeccable and it seems to be a match made in PC heaven.NAACP Leader Racial Questions Identity.JPEG-0ab0f
The post calls for someone with experience in government relations, a working knowledge of how city services are delivered and a deep understanding of the history that has shaped the present. Experience in dealing with the public and media would also be a plus. Not only does Dolezal have recent experience in media relations, she has revised her own history a few times, so
yeah.
Dolezal, a 37-year-old white woman who presents herself as African American, has a lot in common with some of our local officials. Adhering to moral values like honesty or following ethical and procedural rules have been a challenge for her. But just like here in Oakland, its all good because her heart is in the right place.
The comments are pure gold!
