I could not afford one of those tents when I was in school and would never have left a campsite looking like that!

They should all be fined plus made to pay the cost of cleanup and disposal of their crap.

6. shocking! our local news here in

oregon showed footage of unabelievable pricey and quality camping equipment, tents, sleeping bags, etc - abandoned and trashed.

other oregon students, locals from southern oregon and around the shasta area volunteered to go help the forest service employees pick up the trash.

very disrespectful. i hope the perpetrators are identified and prosecuted and humbled with orders to perform community service hours cleaning toilets at campgrounds or rest areas this summer.

People like that have neither brains nor heart. They don't deserve access to our parks and recreational areas.

I hope this turns into a huge scandal
