Trump calls out Gavin Newsom during Montana rally, Newsom responds

President Donald Trump took a shot at California gubernatorial candidate Gavin Newsom during a rally in Montana on Thursday night.

When discussing the Democratic party, Trump mentioned Newsom's controversial proposal to have California pay for universal health care for state's undocumented immigrant population.

"How about the governor, governorship of California," Trump said in an attempt to refer to Newsom. "He just announced that he wants to open borders, and he wants to let anybody come in that wants to. And then he wants to pay for all medical, all school."

Trump then predicted that California would swell to the size of 500 million people.

5. I have yet to hear anyone call for open borders. Being a middle aged white dude in Idaho,

I'm not around an area where we have many minorities of any kind. I know we've had migrant workers in the woods at times planting trees and stuff like that. I have no idea how many may or may not be or have been illegal. Some for sure, but they cause little if any trouble in my area.

The only incident I can really remember is some guy got in a fight in a bar in Pierce, ID one time, and all the tree planters disappeared. It turned out those guys were hiding out in the woods for a few days until they were sure they wouldn't all be rounded up. The boss for the forest products company they were working for eventually got them all back on the job. That's a pretty good indication of how those guys really behave. They weren't signing up for anything, especially government benefits. They were just here making some good money.

My point is that in my area, guys like me, but white- wingers, don't really have any reason to think there is any illegal immigrant crisis. At least not from living anywhere around here. They really don't know squat. It's all what they are being fed by Trump and his media.
