Petition for California legislature to pass the DISCLOSE Act
http://www.caclean.org/petition"We urge all State Senators and Assemblymembers to actively support AB 1148, the California DISCLOSE Act. It would mandate clear and prominent disclosure of who is behind political TV, radio, print, and slate mailer ads, on the ads themselves. AB 1148 will stop special interests from hiding behind fake committee names by requiring ads to show their actual largest contributors. Let the voters know!"
From an email I got from the California Clean Money Campaign: "AB 1148, the California DISCLOSE Act, will have its critical vote in the Assembly Appropriations Committee this Thursday (January 19th)."
