Yay for San Jose, just heard the rumble of thunder ...that's quite rare in SFCA...but i suppose we do need this rain as its been a while since it has poured like this.

Not unusual in the higher elevations, but this was at lake level which is 1,320'. Big flakes, too Melted already and raining now.

Several highways are closed - the plowing crews can't keep up. Several feet have fallen at pass levels. We really need it.
