CA 49: Message from Jerry Tetalman

This was a race I really wish we had won, but hopefully Issa will seriously back off. NEXT time!

Thanks For Your Support!

Thank you for your support and hard work during my campaign for Congress.
Together we made a difference, and made a strong showing for our progressive values. The election tally shows that we won 41% of the vote in the 49th District. That’s the best showing ever against Darrell Issa.

Although my effort fell short, I am thrilled that the American people voted on Tuesday for four more years of progress by voting for a President who wants to expand the American Dream for middle-class families across our country. The re-election of President Obama is a cause for celebration.

When we first started this campaign, no one gave us a chance against one of the richest and most powerful people in Congress. But we were determined. And bit by bit, our grass roots campaign grew from a small volunteer group working out of my Carlsbad home, to a legitimate, professional campaign.

Thanks to you, as our message spread through word-of-mouth, phone calls, on-line media and social media, it became a national campaign attracting postal workers, outraged women and progressive voices across the country.

Once we opened our Carlsbad campaign headquarters and staffed the Orange County Democratic office, the campaign really took off. I want to thank all of you who volunteered over the last 15 months, staffing the offices, stuffing envelopes, making thousands of phone calls, attending rallies, and contributing your hard-earned money to fund a professional campaign.

Your financial support made it possible to run the offices, hire staff, run newspaper and radio ads, and do all the voter outreach of a successful campaign. We are closing out our 2012 accounts and paying off campaign expenses, so any ongoing financial support is still very much appreciated!

I especially want you to know that although the 2012 election campaign is over, our community of progressive voices will continue on. I hope we can keep working to build a strong economy, protect our environment and advocate for women’s rights.

I will stay in touch and let you know about opportunities to participate in our on-going work.

All the best,

Jerry

We need to get this felon out of office....and if we could get Duncan Hunter out too that would be sweet!
