Update: Colorado pet registration fee bill postponed indefinitely

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KXRM) — A bill that would introduce a pet registration fee for Colorado pet owners was postponed indefinitely on Monday, according to the bill’s sponsor State Rep. Regina English.

Frankly, I want to do nothing that will make it harder for everyone--including poorer families-- to be able to have a pet and care for them properly. As with having kids, properly caring for pets is becoming more and more expensive. A better focus, I think to take some kind of measured steps to address.
