Colorado Democratic Party Statement on Rep. Cory Gardner Purposely Giving Misinformation on the ACA
"Rep. Cory Gardner hit a new low yesterday when he touted false information regarding the new healthcare legislation on national television in an attempt to scare and misguide people about the Affordable Care Act." Palacio said.
"I have a great deal of respect for Rep. Gardner, however disingenuous communication like this shows the GOP has been hijacked by Tea Party extremists and Congressman Gardner is toeing their line.
"Although Rep. Gardner may have been successful in closing down the government, he and his party were unsuccessful at preventing the 8,400 Coloradans, who've already enrolled, from seeking health insurance in the new exchange."
