Florida
Related: About this forumHi! I'm seriously thinking of
moving to FL, Melbourne/east coast.
Are there any realtors out there, or someone you know?
I want to buy a small home.
Thanks for any replies!

(39,343 posts)Since most of NASA moved out, there are a lot of homes on the market. I don't know anyone who is a realtor there, but I have a couple friends who live there.
The only caveat is that the Orlando 'burbs are moving east at a rapid speed and will soon be knocking on the door of the east coast. Traffic is a beast if you have to drive the I-4 corridor at common commuting times.
You are closer to Disney (and there are really good deals for Florida residents), the weather is worth the crazy people, the beach is nice, and the prices of really good weed are reasonable and it's readily available.

As far as realtors, I use National Realty. Right now I rent, but my landlord lives in CA, so my realtor takes care of everything. Always been good.

(6,589 posts)I love it here. Was able to afford a place on a canal with a dock, 10 mins from the beach, plenty to do in the area.
The realtor I worked with was Jan Ellison 321-863-2162, email Jan@jeemax.com. She was great & I recommend her.
Best of luck!

(8 posts)I can't imagine why anyone would wanna move here. I'm seriously thinking of moving back up north. I'd rather ice cold weather than ice cold politicians.
