Senate approves bill to let grocery outlets sell hard liquor in stores

Now if we can just get a few shelves for Guns and Ammo, life in Florida will be complete!

I actually don't mind this, but is this a priority for the bought and paid for legislature?

TALLAHASSEE — Floridians are one step closer to being able to buy whiskey, rum or vodka in a grocery store.

3. I live in one of those "Holy Roller" Florida counties

and the hypocrisy runs wide and deep on liquor sales. My local Publix shuts the lights off in the beer/wine aisle on Sunday (God frowns on that sort of thing on His day). The reason- County Commissioners who state it is the Lord's Day and we should honor it as such. Recently they voted to allow Sunday sales when the local restaurants made it an issue of lost revenue.
