Florida voters need to get ready for a high-profile, contentious election that could produce a big win in the U.S. Senate for either the Democrats or the Republicans.
Two new public opinion polls point to a pitched battle for the U.S. Senate between Bill Nelson and Rick Scott. The results could determine which party controls the U.S. Senate after the 2018 midterm elections.
A Mason-Dixon poll scheduled for release Wednesday shows Democrat Nelson with the support of 45 percent of voters surveyed, and Republican Scott with 44 percent, and 11 percent undecided. Thats well within the margin of error, which makes the results effectively a tie.
A Florida Atlantic University poll scheduled for release Wednesday shows Republican Scott with the support of 44 percent of voters surveyed, Democrat Nelson with 34 percent, and 22 percent undecided.

(2,678 posts)Skeletor got elected, then re-elected, as governor. Its as perplexing as dipshit in Maine, creep in Michigan and the turd in Wisconsin all getting re-elected. Nelson should win this. It should not even be close, even with the dirty tricks that party employs.

(17,003 posts)That needs to come to a screeching ass halt. He needs learn how to play hardball. Scott was the CEO of a company that committed massive Medicaid fraud. He resigned shortly before the company was charged. He is a worthless POS.
