Related: About this forumDoes this mean my mail in ballot wasn't counted?
I live in Pinellas Co.
When I look online for 2018 it says
Ballot 1 was sent
Tuesday Oct 2, 2018
Ballot 1 was received by office
Tuesday October 16, 2018
When I look for other dates it says
Ballot 1 sent
Tuesday Feb 6, 2016
Ballot 1 received by office
Tuesday FEb 15, 2018
Ballot 1 was tabulated
etc for other elections
Why doesn't it say that for this one?
IT's also the same for my husband's mail in ballot, as well

Your ballot #1 was received by the office.
That's it. Nothing about it actually being counted.

(43,049 posts)You can query your local BoE about it. Our BoE is always changing things for no apparent reason, but usually it just means trying to save money
You can write or call local news outlets and ask.
You can contact your local Democratic Party organization for information. You might even contact the Republicans to see if they know anything.

(14,565 posts)Same question. I mentioned it in another thread a few days ago. My ballot said received. But it did not indicate tabulated, like prior elections. I was concerned.
When I called on Monday they switched me around to three people until basically saying...don't worry about it, we received your ballot. A poster here said the same thing.
Only today did I receive two responses to the Sunday email that had been ignored. One was a mechanical email and another one a personal email. Both of them said that my absentee ballot was received and also tabulated.
I think you'll probably have the same experience if you send an email...delay then response. The email link was to the right of that info about the ballots.

(254 posts)Last time I checked. If you voted by mail, please check to see if your ballot was not only received, but it should be marked tabulated as well.

(14,831 posts)I'm in Hillsborough Co. My daughter is in Pinellas. We both called our Supv of Elections and that's the explanation we received. We'll be sure to follow up tomorrow.

(67,107 posts)counted. I got the notification it was received OK, but then I wonder the same, did it actually get counted. To me, a lot of the US election/voting process has a lot of holes in it. Also, IMO, it should be standardized across the US.
