Georgia Man Who Used "ThePedoMan" Online is Headed to Prison
The Georgia man who identified himself online as “ThePedoMan” is headed to prison.
27-year-old John McCurdy, a/k/a John McCurdy-Walker of Walton County as sentenced in federal court this week to serve 41 months in prison.
The announcement came down from Charles “Charlie” Peeler, the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia.
McCurdy previously pleaded guilty to the indictment charging him with one count possession of child pornograph after using the name “ThePedoMan” on child pornography websites. He was sentenced on October 9, 2019 by U.S. District Judge C. Ashley Royal. There is no parole in the federal system.
