is the 29th too soon? what is your schedule when you come in? presuming 9 or 10 till 2 or 3, so a lunch time thing? do you take the metra in?

the only 2 things that come to mind are NOT downtown. one is my farm, the other is goose island at north and clybourn, which is my home away from home and where they will likely give us a room, and be very nice to us.

i don't eat downtown that often, and most places that i know are pretty small. but i will dig around if we have a lot of folks who are taking a train in.

eta- my 2 suggestions have plenty of free parking, downtown not so much. but if folks are mostly taking the train in......

there is a little on street parking in this part of the city. i'm thinking saturday during the day it might not be too awful awful.

Goose Island would be your best bet, if you must go to the city. I'd be interested....I've never seen a fellow DUer in the wild.

a red line stop a couple blocks away.
and like i said, they will be good to us.
