Why no celebrating African American Lauren Underwood's historic win?

She's a 32 year old Democratic Black women who just beat a Republican White Male incumbent in Illinois' 14th, a district that's 86 percent White, for the House of Representatives.... Cripe, if that's not a win, nothing is.

I'm seeing very little in the televised media about it, for some reason.

I've having trouble absorbing all of the amazing results, while also trying to accept and digest the crushing disappointments. Thanks for adding to the POSITIVE side!! The more good I have to absorb, the better I feel.

They named the tollway after St. Ronnie as it runs through DuPage. That's all anybody should need to know, that in blue NE IL, DuPage named a state tollway and federal expressway after the actor with dementia.

around the country, figuratively speaking of course, to better understand where we are at with regards to state and fed wins....

Lauren Underwood, a Democrat from Naperville who has never held elected office, pulled off a stunning victory Tuesday, unseating four-term Republican incumbent Randy Hultgren

So much to absorb....I think I will be busy...focusing on the win by Zach Wahls....wins IOWA state senate seat...27 years old...so young..with a bright future.....

I have lived in this district for over 40 years and I have never seen a campaign, from either side, with so much energy. You could not drive a block without seeing an "Underwood" yard sign. The district was flooded with them. This victory was a remarkable achievement in what I would call a red leaning pink Republican district.
I was floored last night when no one, including MSNBC, made mention of it.

I can't figure out why its' being all but ignored.

Her story is alt least as much a newsworthy "longshot"
one as the others they're highlighting.
