Senate race 2018: Democratic group attacks Braun days after GOP group goes after Donnelly
A Democratic super PAC is attacking GOP Senate candidate Mike Braun's business record — days after a GOP group went after Democratic Sen. Joe Donnelly's opposition to the GOP tax package.
And that GOP attack was launched days after Indiana's May 8 primary.
It's another indication of the expected intensity of Indiana's Senate race, one that will help determine whether Republicans hold — and possibly expand — their slim Senate majority.
Republicans want to make the GOP tax package a centerpiece of the campaign.
