Trump, Clinton neck and neck in Iowa

Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton are locked in a dead heat in Iowa for the 2016 presidential race, according to a new poll released Monday.

The survey by Simpson College and RABA Research, a bipartisan polling firm, showed Trump with 40 percent; Clinton, 39 percent; Libertarian Gary Johnson, 10 percent; Green Party candidate Jill Stein; 3 percent; and 8 percent, undecided. The difference between Trump and Clinton is within the poll's margin of error, which is plus or minus 3 percent.

If November's general election were held only between the two leading candidates, Trump would receive 43 percent and Clinton 42 percent.

The poll included 1,054 interviews with Iowa voters conducted Sept. 6-8 via automated phone and internet surveys.

He thinks IA will be one of the tightest races in the nations.

I really had hoped we were getting bluer by now.

...is that people have Blum or Grassley signs in their yards, but there are very few Orange Hitler signs up. Hopefully that means they'll consider splitting the ticket and they're not supportive of OH as President. Or they just don't want the whole neighborhood to know what big time fucksticks they are.

Or at least in this area.

I haven't seen a Grassley sign yet. But there are at least 4 Drumpf signs in my neighborhood alone. Fricking frightening.
I'm going up to NW IA next week. Will be interesting to see what's going on in King Kountry.

And the Repubs are really gunning for Mike Gronstal again this year. Huge signs for his opponent as well as fliers in the mail. But Mike won easily in '08, so I'm cautiously optimistic he'll return to the State Senate again.

Seeing how so many of their dreams of teabag glory got Gronstalled they want to defeat him.
