'Angry white male studies': College's course draws criticism from white congressman

If you're a man who is angry and white, University of Kansas officials think you're worth studying.

The university's course catalog for the 2019-2020 year lists a class under its College of Liberal Arts and Sciences titled "Angry White Male Studies." And one of the state's congressional members, himself a white man, is not pleased with the offering.

The three-credit course examines "the rise of the 'angry white male' in America and Britain since the 1950s, exploring the deeper sources of this emotional state while evaluating recent manifestations of male anger," according to the course listing.

"Employing interdisciplinary perspectives this course examines how both dominant and subordinate masculinities are represented and experienced in cultures undergoing periods of rapid change connected to modernity as well as to rights-based movements of women, people of color, homosexuals and trans individuals," the description states.

1. LOL, love it, I want to take that class.

but don't they cover this in Abnormal Psych class...
