The intensity is driven by the state referendum on abortion. A "No" vote is a pro-choice vote.

(8,611 posts)They usually vote in greater numbers than men anyway, and in this case I wouldn't be surprised if the ratio is 60% W-40% M, but that's just my wild guess.

(12,904 posts)I am a neighbor to Kansas.
A Kansan might want to ask themselves why are they spending fortunes to supposedly keep in place the existing situation?
I must say, the activists on the no side have done a terrific job countering the assault on our rights. Their ad content and placement in town is terrific!
The yes side, who probably were planning to skate this assault through in an August primary, have suddenly resorted to saying the yes vote would put a stop to Biden and Pelosis liberal agenda. I am hoping this move is a big mistake on their part. As in, suddenly their agenda seems less about valueing them both, and more about something else entirely.

(17 posts)Some of the ads have described the choice as a government mandate. Repubs hate mandates so it might be a smart message. Others have used local physicians promoting a no vote.
